Hiding in Plain Sight

When you have a little Etsy store, and you increase your inventory, you have to have a place to store the items. And sometimes the best way to store them is to use them creatively in your home. At least that is what I do. For example:

Junk Drawer on top of the refrigerator holding, are you ready? The basket which contains junk food, pastries, snacks, junk food! Oh, and by the way, look at those little cuties on the refrigerator. Doesn’t it look like Lucas is getting ready to catch that football?!?

And then there are mini cobalt glass salt and pepper shakers, and where are they? In front of the cobalt blue salt waters of the Monterey/Carmel Bay.

Mid-century cobalt blue, made in Japan, mini salt shakers, nestled amidst the rocks and drift wood of Carmel.

And finally for today, the cowboy display on top of the armoire in front of my favorite screen painting – the steer horns and a set of cowboy stories accompany my father’s riding boots and jodhpurs.

Storing Etsy store items as decor
It will actually be a bit difficult to sell some of these items including the steer horns which were actually attached to another one of our well-traveled vans by our army son on his southwest travels….oh the memories!
